43 & 44, Hosting Veen & Robert (Abney Park)

I don't necessarily know that "Hosting Veen" is actually the name of anything, but it was the name of the photo I was sent. Whatever it is, the request is from a member of the band Abney Park out of Seattle. I've never heard of them, but my musical tastes died some time in the early 90's. However, given the description off Wikipedia, it actually sounds like something I'd listen to. At some point after this I'll probably go buy some music.

Anyway, this is a two-fer in the video. Enjoy!

I busted ass this weekend to get as many of these done as I could. I'm 7 away and I can probably get that done today or tomorrow.

The originals of Polk and LBJ are spoken for, but the rest are up for sale if you'd like them. They're going to a small art show at my work this week but they're free to a good home after that.

In just a few days I've done the first 15 presidents as robots. I've got 10 days to do 28 more before an art show at my job. It's almost a race.

41 Clever and Optimus Prime

This was for a friend's birthday. The smaller guy, Clever, is based on a British concept car of the same name. It's hard turning people into transformers, so I just grabbed a unique vehicle and went from there.





This was done a few weeks ago and mailed to Malaysia so I wasn't able to post it till now, but since this one I haven't got any new requests, hence the president drawings. I'll probably be focusing on those for a while. I want to use them for an upcoming art show, but after that if you'd like one of them, just use the 5x7 paypal button and send me a note which one you want and I'll send it off to you when the show is done.

Just something I thought of doing. I've got a stack of index cards and each of them will have a penciled sketch of a clockwork, steampunk or robotized president.

I hope you enjoy these.

Still Here

I don't know what happened, but about two weeks ago I stopped getting requests for art. I hope it wasn't something I said or did. I hope everyone has received their art and is satisfied that it's worth the $10.

So I'll be going back to working on the 700 Robots list as well as a new idea which I've already started and will post here soon.
